IntroductionThere are lots of different ways to get a screenshot of yourself in game. This first section shows you how to do it the old fashioned way. The second post shows you how to do it via swiftkit game client.
Taking The ScreenshotPress the Prt Scr (print screen) key on your keyboard. It can be found above the Insert key and to the right of the F12 key. On some keyboards, including laptop/notebook keyboards, you may need to press the "function" or "fn" key in combination with the "Print Screen" key. Anything on the screen is now stored in the computer's memory, or the 'Clipboard.'
Pasting The Picture and Saving Your New ScreenshotOpen up Paint or another graphics program like Photoshop or PaintShop Pro, and paste your image in by pressing Ctrl+V together. You can also just click edit -> paste
Since .bmp (Bitmap) images are big and 'unfriendly' to the web, you should save it as a .gif or .png to make it smaller. In Paint, select the format you want to save in from the 'type' menu, and then type in a name with the same extension (.gif or .png). Save it to a location on your pc.
Uploading Your ScreenshotYou need to upload your image somewhere so that other people on the internet can see it. There are lots of different websites that allow you to do this,
Imageshack, Photobucket Etc.
Screenshots on swiftkit runescape clientOn swiftkit runescape client you can press prt scr (print screen) button or just click print screen at the top of the client on the menu.
Click view -> Screenshot viewer
Find the image you just captured and click upload in the top right.
Now just copy that link and paste it into your application form - Job done
